34 Commerce Appoints Vince Chirico As New Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) To Drive Additional Cinsay Distribution

– Marketing and business development veteran from Google joins 34 Commerce to develop sales strategies for Cinsay’s social video commerce platform.

AUSTIN, Texas, May 28, 201334 Commerce today announced the hiring of Vince Chirico as Chief Revenue Officer to lead large enterprise, re-seller strategies and sales of 34 Commerce and Cinsay’s Smart Store™ technology. Mr. Chirico brings over fifteen years of digital advertising and ecommerce experience to the 34 Commerce and Cinsay partnership.

Mr. Chirico spent the first half of his eight years at Google, Inc. leading Google’s Mountain States and Southwest regions for sales and business development. In that capacity, he worked with Fortune 500 companies to leverage search and display advertising. Most recently, during the second half of his Google career, Mr. Chirico worked with many of the web’s largest publishers to utilize Google’s platforms and solutions for text, image, rich media, video and mobile display ads. DoubleClick for Publishers and the Ad Exchange were two major Google solutions used to create new business for his clients.

Prior to joining Google, Mr. Chirico worked as Vice-President for Airline Strategy, Marketing & Product Development for Travelport (formerly Cendant Travel Distribution Services). Mr. Chirico led strategy and product development for Galileo/Apollo (Cendant’s Global Distribution System (GDS)) and online distribution solutions in a de-regulated GDS world. Mr. Chirico was also instrumental in Travelport’s acquisition of Orbitz.com.

Prior to joining Cendant Travel Distribution Services, Mr. Chirico led strategy and business development for Delta Air Lines, Inc. Mr. Chirico managed Delta’s web evolution into a portal for flight research, reservations, services and communications. He also served as Delta’s lead for the creation of Orbitz.com, which was a five-way joint venture start-up between Delta, American, United, Continental and Northwest Airlines.

Mr. Chirico received his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and his BBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business where he graduated summa cum laude. He currently lives with his wife, Kristina, in Denver, Colorado.
