35 new companies join TM Forum

The Forum’s Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Programme, 5G Catalysts, and Digital Transformation Training attracts new members

PARSIPPANY, NJ— October 29, 2018— TM Forum, the global not-for-profit association focused on digital transformation, announced today that 35 new companies joined the Forum over the summer and early Autumn months.  New members include communication services provider T-Mobile Austria, media company Sky Brasil, and innovative smart-city enabler NaviParking.

One of the new members is FICO – a data analytics company serving industries including financial services, healthcare, insurance, automotive, public sector, retail, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, travel and hospitality, media and entertainment, high tech and utilities. Mel Prescott, Principal Consultant at FICO said, “Joining TM Forum is a really exciting step for FICO.  We are very much looking forward to collaborating with the community to help enable digital transformation journeys.  Our 60+ years of analytical innovation, coupled with over 20 of years pioneering Artificial Intelligence, gives us a great platform to work with the industry as it continues to adapt and move toward new business models.”  Other existing members of TM Forum’s Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Programme include AT&T, BT, IBM, Microsoft, Orange, Vodafone, Huawei, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Nokia, MTN, Telenor, Telia, NEC, and more.

Another new member is Oasis Systems – a telecommunication solutions provider, delivering high-performance solutions for the Carrier/Service Provider, Service Bureau, and the MVNO market segments. On joining the Forum Greg Steer, CEO at Oasis Systems said, “The benefits of the TM Forum membership have been immediate, through training, collaboration and support of our digital transformation initiatives”.  12,000 professionals from over 250 companies have taken more than 54,000 TM Forum training courses, with the Open API training course being this year’s most popular course.

Zetta Networks is another new member – Zeetta’s main product is a software-defined network management operating system based on patented technology for virtualisation and 5G slicing and splicing, that enables operators to increase and scale the capabilities of their networks without escalating CAPEX and OPEX. It allows delivery of application-aware, differentiated connectivity services in respond to the ever-changing dynamics of data traffic. Vassilis Seferidis, CEO at Zeetta Networks said, “We are delighted to join TM Forum because we see the convergence between network management and operations management as critical to delivering next generation 5G capabilities. We share fully the Forum’s vision on enabling operational business agility and preparing the software-defined networks of the future.
