The next generation of wireless network infrastructure must be built using networks employing 5G. Implementing 5G, edge computing and the cloud, and having them work together across the network will lay the bedrock for the infrastructure that a smart city needs. Compacting these three technologies together allows the next generation of always-on, always-moving IoT to profit from real-time synthesis of data and action.
