60% increase in revenue kicks off great year for Clarity

Unified OSS player Clarity has released its financial performance for the last six months of 2011 – the first half of its 2011/12 financial year – revealing that revenues rose by 61.4% to AUD$14.1M compared to the same period in 2010.

In the wake of this financial success, 2011 also culminated in Clarity being recognised as a visionary by Gartner in its magic quadrant for operational support systems.

Commenting on Clarity’s financial results, Jon Newbery, CEO, said: “Our first half financial performance is the result of a number of factors: a focused strategy to strengthen the company’s value proposition in the market, implementing a partner-led model for signing and delivering new business, an increased proportion of revenues derived from licence sales through those partners and the timely delivery of projects driven by investment in improving product and delivery capabilities.”

Some of the major successes during the last year include:

·  Clarity was awarded a 5-year contract from the Axiata Group Berhad (Axiata), one of the largest telecommunications companies in Asia. The deal will see Clarity provide operational support systems to Axiata and its group of companies

·  Clarity successfully completed its long-term Network Inventory System (NIS) project for Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), Malaysia’s broadband champion. Clarity has centralised TM’s engineering workflow processes and provisioning for IP, telephony, broadband and narrowband services

·  Clarity started work on the next phase of its rollout for Telkom Indonesia (PT Telkom), the largest telecommunication and network services provider in Indonesia

Jon concludes: “Perhaps the most important factor in achieving these results has been the tremendous focus and dedication of the team. Clarity is now well placed to show continuing top line growth in the second half of its financial year and we’re looking forward to working further with new and existing accounts, especially in Asia and the Middle-East.”
