Netmania IT Announce Live Interoperability Testing at the Broadband World Forum

by david.nunes

One of the world’s leading providers of IT services and solutions has confirmed that the company will be holding free interoperability testing at stand K6

In the lead up to next week’s Broadband World Forum, Netmania IT (link to www.netmania-it.com) has announced that the company will be carrying out live interoperability testing at stand K6 during the event which runs from 26 to 28 October 2010 in Paris.

Netmania’s ACSLite (link to www.acslite.com) interoperability tests will be completely free of charge and will enable CPE vendors and Chipset manufacturers, as well as manufacturers of other TR-069 enabled devices, such as set-top boxes, webcams, and VoIP phones, to leverage the company’s expertise in Broadband Forum standards.

As part of the live testing, the team will be offering free one-to-one consultation to CPE vendors and manufacturers of TR-069 enabled devices and providing key advice on strategies, which they can employ to increase the demand for their particular devices and boost revenue.

Netmania IT will also be offering such consultative services to those companies who are currently in the process of developing TR-069 compatible devices or developing their TR-069 client.

Companies which would like to take part in the free interoperability testing are being invited to email Netmania IT’s Device Management Consultant, Greg Aston, before the Broadband World Forum at greg.aston@netmania-it.com so that he can send across the CWMP credentials to connect the device(s) to ACSLite prior to the event.

However, if businesses wish to simply visit stand K6 and bring their device(s) along for free interoperability testing after the show, or enquire about interoperability testing which can be done after the event, they are welcome to do so.

Netmania IT will be issuing a ‘Certificate of Manageability’ at the Broadband World forum to manufacturers whose device(s) pass the interoperability testing. Should any device(s) require further testing due to issues arising or time constraints, Netmania IT has confirmed that the team will continue any incomplete interoperability tests after the event at no extra cost.

“By taking advantage of our interoperability testing during the Broadband World Forum, CPE vendors and manufacturers of TR-069 enabled devices will be able to get free device-specific consultation which is tailored to their company,” explains Sales & Marketing Director, Anthony Brown.

Netmania IT has established itself as a leading provider of IT services and solutions since the company was founded ten years ago. Netmania IT manages one of the largest and most active TR-069 device estates in the world on behalf of its clients and has vast experience of TR-069 standards, including systems integration; zero-touch provisioning of value-added services; data collection and router diagnostics; integration into self-care portals; firmware upgrades and compliance testing.

Netmania IT is already working with many leading CPE vendors. This list of vendors and devices supported is growing on a daily basis as the company competes interoperability testing for its clients.

The business’ industry-leading knowledge and expertise in this field comes from working with one of the first providers in the world to adopt the TR-069 industry standard. As a result, Netmania IT has been heavily involved in TR-069 and has built up a vast amount of knowledge, which it readily draws upon to the benefit of its international client base. Today, that customer base includes managing an estate of around four million devices for one of the world’s leading telecommunication companies.
