SyncNow – Smart Services is a server-side content identification and triggering service that provides real-time recognition of broadcast content such as advertisements, movies, TV series, and music. Civolution will also demonstrate how its watermarking and fingerprinting technologies that underpin 2nd screen applications. Civolution’s award-winning SyncNow – 2nd Screen solution enables identification and synchronization between broadcast, on-demand or recorded television content and interactive applications on companion devices (tablets, smart phones, laptops). Companies currently using SyncNow to provide second screen interactivity include Ex Machina, which is working on ‘The Voice of Holland’ and Germany’s ‘Next Topmodel’, Hyper TV, for Italy’s ‘X Factor’, and GoMiso, working on numerous American programmes including ‘Dexter’.
