Sea Fibre Networks to Attend International Telecoms Week 2012.

ITW – the meeting for the global wholesale telecommunications community

1st May 2012, Dublin, Ireland – Sea Fibre Networks, owner and operator of Europe’s most advanced sub-sea telecoms network, are attending ITW in Chicago, Hyatt Regency Hotel, 14th- 16th May 2012. This strategic event will be used as a platform for Sea Fibre Networks to showcase Ireland’s lowest latency sub-sea telecommunications network to key decision makers in the Telecoms industry. This event will also be a medium to promote a Cork-France cable, Sea Fibre Networks’ newest sub-sea link connecting Ireland and Europe directly.

Diane Hodnett, Chief Executive Officer, Sea Fibre Networks, is looking forward to attending ITW 2012: “Ireland is a stepping stone for US companies to come to Europe and low latency links are vital infrastructures to support this. We are no longer a digitally isolated country – companies don’t just want to set up here, they want to move their data from here onwards around the world. I look forward to promoting our company and Ireland at this event.”

ITW is the meeting point for the global wholesale telecommunications community – at which over 5,300 delegates from nearly 1,700 companies representing 150+ countries meet to buy and sell both voice and data products and services. ITW is an event for the entire industry with participants from all areas of the wholesale industry: Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 carriers, mobile / wireless operators, ISPs, VoIP providers and technology partners from the voice, data, satellite, sub-sea and fixed line markets. As well as Sea Fibre Networks, attendees include: AT&T, Verizon, Google, AboveNet and Vodafone.
