Mobey Forum Announces ECB, CaixaBank and Consult Hyperion Keynote Speakers at Mobey Day 2014

Global banking association welcomes leading financial experts to discuss HCE and biometrics in mobile finance

24 September 2014 – Global industry association, Mobey Forum, has announced the three keynote speakers for its annual two-day Mobey Day conference, taking place on 7-8 October in Barcelona. The three keynote presentations at this year’s event will be delivered by representatives from CaixaBank, Consult Hyperion and European Central Bank.

Iddo de Jong, Market Integration, European Central Bank will discuss the role of m-payments in SEPA, Dave Birch, Global Ambassador, Consult Hyperion will argue that mobile phones and biometrics are a winning combination for the mass market, and David Urbano, Head of Mobile, CaixaBank, will provide insights into, and key learnings from, CaixaBank’s mobile development programme.

In addition to a number of other prominent industry experts across the two days, Andrea Fiorentino, Head of European Go To Market Mobile Propositions at Visa, will address host card emulation (HCE) and collaboration, and is joined by a speaker from one of the mobile ecosystem’s biggest and most influential brands. The keynote speakers will present alongside other industry experts from across the banking, telecom and mobile money sectors, providing access to the latest thinking on divisive topics such as HCE and hardware secure elements for mobile payments and the value and opportunities that biometrics promise to deliver to mobile finance.
