Arthur D. Little partners with European Commission on 5G supply market study

The study aims to support the European Commission to ensure supplier diversity, healthy competition and maximum interoperability within 5G networks. To this end, the study will provide an in-depth analysis of the market for the provision of 4G and 5G equipment and services in Europe, and assess the potential impact of new 5G deployment and operation models. In addition, the study will identify possible policy measures to address the opportunities and risks of such models.

The 11 month study will have a strong focus on stakeholder participation, with two workshops and a wide-ranging set of expert interviews already planned. The first workshop is planned for the end of 2020, with initial results expected in early 2021.
