Accedo launches App Store Solution for Boxer
Stockholm, Sweden, 6 December, 2011 – Accedo, leading enabler of Smart TV and IPTV applications, today announced that its Application Sphere™ Solution has been integrated with the new On Demand box from Boxer.
Boxer TV-Access AB is one of the leading digital Pay-TV operators in the Nordics, with about 1million DTT subscribers. The Appstore will be populated with pre-packaged applications from Accedo’s large portfolio of games and media apps, including a weather service and social media applications such as Twitter, Facebook, and Picasa.
The Accedo Application Sphere™ is fully customizable to suit company branding. For Boxer, it was important that the User Interface (UI) could be customized according to both Boxer brand guidelines and the UI specification for this new On Demand service.
The Accedo Application Sphere provides a powerful, cloud based, scalable and open application management platform to enable content and service providers, such as Boxer, to stay competitive.
