Fujin Technology Announce Outstanding Results of Deployment of
Blue Coat CacheFlow Appliances
Tier One Operator Saves over 50% on Bandwidth Costs in North Africa

– Fujin Technology Trading Ltd., part of Accumuli PLC and a leading integrator of high performance networking technologies, has today announced the success of its African Caching Project, in which it deployed the Blue Coat CacheFlow appliances from Blue Coat Systems, Inc., to help a tier one broadband operator reduce bandwidth costs by more than 50 percent.
As a premier partner in the Blue Coat Channel Advantage Program, Fujin is gaining great traction across Africa with the Blue Coat CacheFlow appliances, a dedicated carrier-grade caching solution designed to help service providers better contain rocketing bandwidth costs and improve the quality of experience for subscribers.
Web caching helps service providers contain operational costs by reducing bandwidth consumption and backhaul, while providing the capacity to handle traffic spikes. With CacheFlow appliances deployed in service provider networks, subscribers experience faster response time and better usage characteristics, including smooth, uninterrupted video playback. The appliances also act as a “shock absorber” to address traffic spikes that occur when websites and content become popular over a very short period of time, as occurs with major news, sporting or political events.
