Geneva, Switzerland: Advanced Digital Broadcast, a leading supplier of technology to the global digital television industry, announced today that it will be presenting its latest innovations at TelcoTV 2010.

In Booth 449 in Las Vegas next week, ADB will show how its software expertise improves the consumer’s experience:

Incredible Speed
ADB will demonstrate sub one second channel change on both the ADB-5721WNX high definition digital video recorder and the ADB-3721WN high definition set-top box.

Also on display in Las Vegas will be ADB’s fast-boot software. This solution provides an amazingly quick start, going from no power to full video and menus in under 7 seconds. Electricity savings are thereby encouraged, as consumers won’t hesitate anymore to switch off their device after use.

“For ADB it’s all about the consumer. Fast channel change and fast-boot provide the user with an improved experience,” said Kathryn Wolfe, Senior Vice President, Americas Sales & Business Development. “We strive for these types of differentiated features in our products to give the operator a superior product that will help create customer loyalty.”

The ADB-5721WNX and the ADB-3721WN are ADB’s latest IPTV devices, which are HCNA certified, for easy to deploy interactive TV, Over-the-Top and Home Networking. With twice the memory as what is typically offered in the market and with ADB’s unique software optimization, these devices support up to 14 day EPG, quicker menus, program guides and channel changing than ever before.

ADB’s innovative solutions will be on display in booth 449 at TelcoTV 2010, November 10 & 11 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
