adesso expands into Turkey
Dortmund, 10 September 2013 – adesso AG has established a national subsidiary in Turkey. The IT service provider will offer its entire range of services from the Istanbul location, which is led by managing director Burak Bari. Initial focus will be placed on solutions and services for content management and mobile business.
adesso’s personnel in Istanbul currently consists of four employees, whose expertise covers all aspects of software development management, ranging from project management, Java, .NET and C# development all the way to complex, user-specific implementations. adesso Turkey Bilgi Teknolojileri Ltd. Sti. is led by managing director Burak Bari, who is responsible for launching adesso’s services and solutions in Turkey and the continued expansion of the Istanbul site, including adding more personnel. adesso already has over 1,100 employees at locations in ten cities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The new colleagues in Turkey will be able to rely on this network of IT specialists.

Dr. Rüdiger Striemer, co-CEO of adesso, explained. “In addition, we were happy to be able to get Burak Bari to head the Istanbul location. He has many years of proven expertise in the IT industry and excellent knowledge of the Turkish market in particular.”
Burak Bari has been employed at adesso since March 2013. Before that, he worked as a senior project manager at Capgemini and as a project manager at Logica Deutschland.
adesso will offer its entire range of services in Turkey with a particular emphasis on solutions for content management and mobile business.
On the one hand, the IT service provider has plans to market the content management system FirstSpirit, which is a cross-sector solution that offers a seamless portal integration. adesso Turkey will also help companies to come up with and implement client-specific custom portals and assist with group-wide migrations.
On the other hand, adesso’s Turkish branch will focus on implementing mobile corporate applications that supplement existing information, distribution and communication channels. This second focus concerns everything from the execution of mobile portals to the integration of business-critical applications and also includes, for example, developing applications for various platforms such as iOS, Android or Windows phones. In the process, both customer-specific applications and solutions will be designed based on adesso’s in|MOTION, which is a tool that can simply and quickly make existing services available for the mobile channel.
