Advantech Wireless Appoints General Director Brazil

Montreal, CANADA – August 21, 2017 – Advantech Wireless, a global leader in satellite broadband communications solutions, is
pleased to announce that Carlos Xavier has joined the company in 2017 as Director of Advantech Wireless Do Brasil.
Mr. Xavier has more than 25 years of experience in Management, International Business Development and Sales in the areas of
Communications and IT. He has held executive positions in companies such as Gilat, Stefanini IT Solutions, and Telespazio –
Telecom.
“Advantech Wireless has a strong legacy in supporting both commercial and government customers in Brazil. As we work to build on
our successful family of Satellite Networking and RF projects in this growing region we are certain that Carlos will bring his

Mr. Xavier holds an Industrial Electronic Engineering Degree from UTFPR University and an MBA from Fund. Getúlio Vargas-FGV, in
Brazil.
