Adyton Systems Wins Rohde & Schwarz as Investor

Next-Generation firewall manufacturer Adyton Systems AG from Leipzig announces strategic investment by Rohde & Schwarz

Leipzig, Germany, January 24, 2012. The technology company Adyton Systems has closed a significant investment by electronics firm Rohde & Schwarz from Munich in December 2011. So far, the company had been financed by private investors. Through this investment, the Leipzig-based company not only gets the financial resources to pursue its ambitious business plan, but also gains an important technology partner that focuses on security solutions for the information and communications industry.

The management board of Adyton Systems is joined by Frank Lüdeking, who will serve as Chief Financial Officer. Frank Lüdeking has many years of experience in the IT security field. In his current position in the management board of Rohde & Schwarz SIT he is responsible for finance and human resources. Previously, he had held various management positions in IT services and consulting companies.

“The participation of Rohde & Schwarz allows us to pursue our ambitious business plan. For this year we have already planned six exhibitions in Europe, where we will present our next-generation firewall product NETWORK PROTECTOR,” said Klaus Mochalski, CEO of Adyton Systems. The team already consists of thirty employees and will be further expanded:

“In 2012 we will significantly grow our staff to achieve our goals.

Particularly in the departments of sales, customer support and development new hires are planned. ”

With the participation of Rohde & Schwarz, Hendrik Schulze leaves Adyton’s supervisory board and Winfried Wirth, Managing Director of Rohde & Schwarz SIT GmbH in Berlin, becomes a new member. Winfried Wirth joined the Rohde & Schwarz group in 1989. Since 2005 he has managed the equipment manufacturing group, part of the radio communications department, and moved to Rohde & Schwarz SIT GmbH in 2011.
