Aeroflex receives license to provide test systems for automated testing of mobile devices
STEVENAGE, UK— 19 April 2012— Aeroflex Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp. (NYSE:ARX), announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Qualcomm Incorporated to supply manufacturing test technology for RF devices.
“This agreement enables Aeroflex to deliver test cost reductions to Qualcomm customers,” said Tim Carey, product manager for Aeroflex Limited. “The Aeroflex PXI 3000 modular RF test communications platform is ideally suited to further reduce test cycle times.”
This worldwide commercial Factory Test Technology License gives Aeroflex the ability to provide Qualcomm customers with efficient automated manufacturing test solutions. Aeroflex will be able to validate its test solution against Qualcomm cellular mobile devices and provide data to Qualcomm’s customers. Additionally, Aeroflex will have access to software tools and technical support direct from Qualcomm.
