Airangel extends value-added WiFi to holiday parks with acquisition of Park WiFi

Warrington, 14th October 2013: Airangel, the innovative WiFi CRM solution provider, today announced the acquisition of Park WiFi, the specialist supplier of wireless Internet services to holiday parks. Park WiFi co-founders, Jonathan Oakden and Chris Pressley will join the Airangel team to provide specialist expertise and local customer understanding.

The acquisition of Park WiFi, which was completed on 1st October 2013, adds 140 sites to the 1,500 WiFi networks already provided by Airangel across the hospitality and leisure industry. Airangel will take over Park WiFi’s customer support with immediate effect, while the full transfer and upgrade of Park WiFi’s existing estate is due to be completed by the end of 2013. Both parties are committed to delivering a smooth transition for customers, who will largely be unaware of the change.

The addition of Park WiFi to Airangel’s portfolio of WiFi solutions follows the company’s acquisition in 2011 of Candengo, the WiFi services company that specialised in providing Internet connectivity to marinas and caravan parks. It further strengthens the company’s expertise in the hospitality and leisure sector, which includes prestigious, traditional and boutique hotels, international chains, next generation hostels, apartments, self-catering holiday parks and marinas.
