Alcatel-Lucent to recognize organizations with world-class customer service and employee engagement
Paris, November 15, 2010 – Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced that it is now accepting nominations for its annual Dynamic Enterprise Awards. This year the program has two distinct categories: The Customer Service Award, which recognizes an organization for delivering the most innovative customer engagement, and the Employee Engagement Award, which recognizes innovative employee engagement. A unique aspect of this program is that the degree of achievement is judged by top industry analysts in the customer service and enterprise communications space, reinforcing each awards’ position as a global assessment of excellence.
Who can apply for a Dynamic Enterprise Award?
Nominations for each category will be accepted from businesses, organizations, government agencies, or educational institutions that use Alcatel-Lucent solutions to enhance their communications with their customers and among employees. Organizations recognized for customer engagement last year included UK gaming company Betfair, German insurer HUK Coburg, U.S. insurer Travelers and Turkish bank Akbank; while Oaxaca’s state government in Mexico, the Four Seasons Mumbai hotel in India, and Capgemini, a leading IT services and consulting company in China, were recognized for their employee engagement.

How to apply for a Dynamic Enterprise Award?
To nominate an organization for a 2011 Dynamic Enterprise Award, an application must be received by December 17, 2010. Nominations will be reviewed to determine how closely the nominated organization has come to delivering excellent customer and/or employee engagement through the innovative use of technology. Ten finalists, five from each category, will be invited to present their stories in-person to an independent panel of judges in either San Francisco or Europe.
Although winners will be selected by a panel of judges, each finalist organization will be honored in 2011 at a customer event. Each finalist will also be acknowledged via a press release or media alert. Analysts from firms such as Forrester, Frost & Sullivan, IDC, Ovum, and Yankee Group will be invited to be part of the independent judging panels.
