ALPHA RECEIVES TL 9000 CERTIFICATION
Vancouver, BC. January 17, 2012 – Alpha Technologies Ltd. TL 9000, an extension of ISO: 9001, is designed to validate a quality management system governing the design, development, production, delivery, installation and maintenance of products and services for telecommunications. Created and continually improved by the QuEST Forum (a global communications association comprising of the world’s top industry service providers and suppliers, dedicated to continually improving standards in the telecommunications industry), it has become a globally accepted quality standard, with almost 2,000 supplier locations registered worldwide (approximately 34% in the Americas region, 59% Asia Pacific and 7% EMEA – Europe, Middle East & Africa).
Enterprises that have supplier relationships with TL 9000 certified suppliers can expect consistent and validated quality across all products, services and customer care, resulting in significant cost and time savings through avoidance of on-site inspections and quality audits. Performance data of all registered companies is benchmarked against one another so that all suppliers have incentive to continually push to achieve ‘best in class’ results.
