ALTUS WELCOMES GALEN WHITE AS SALES DIRECTOR, NORTH AMERICA
Torrance, CA. – Nov. 11, 2013 – Altus Positioning Systems announced the appointment of Galen White as Sales Director for GIS and Public Sector in North America.
Mr. White has more than 20 years experience in the GIS, government, energy and technology sector. Before joining Altus, he served as Vice President of Sales for Pacific Power. Prior to that, he served as Director of Sales and Business Development for Premier Power Renewable Energy, and as a District Sales Manager for Pictometry International.
“Galen White brings a strong background in technology sales, business development, and a proven track record of success in sales management in municipal, county, state, federal and utility sectors,” said Neil Vancans, CEO and president of Altus Positioning Systems. “He will play an important role in driving our company’s growth in the North American market.”
Mr. White earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and performed post-graduate work at California State University, Los Angeles. He is a licensed pilot and is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilot’s Association. He has served as a board member of the Green Jobs Council at Kern Community College District and technical committee member of State of Hawaii Enhanced 911 Wireless Board.
