Anite launches Nemo Invex II providing greater benchmarking capacity

for LTE, LTE-A, Cat 6 and VoLTE smartphones

Accurate, efficient, easy to use and application-rich benchmarking system for wireless networks

Oulu, Finland – 10 November, 2014 – Anite, a global leader in wireless network testing technology, today announces the launch of Nemo Invex II, its latest state-of-the-art benchmarking solution for operators, wireless infrastructure vendors, certification laboratories and regulatory bodies. Nemo Invex II is a benchmarking system which combines powerful, intuitive software and scalable, robust hardware to create a superior solution for benchmarking wireless networks and devices. Easy to deploy, Nemo Invex II provides critical quality-of-service (QoS) measurements and a wide variety of quality-of-experience (QoE) service testing.

Reliable and accurate

Nemo Invex II sets the new standard for reliable and accurate measurements. Its enhanced power efficiency reduces the power usage per test device by approximately 50%. The innovative thermal design enables longer, uninterrupted and therefore more reliable measurements. Improved UPS functions include back-up for scanners as well as built-in monitoring for power, temperature and current, thus maintaining the measurement system at optimal temperature. In addition, high power USB ports enable batteries to be charged during long test drives.

Versatile and easy to use

With its easy to use features, Nemo Invex II offers the very latest measurement system technology. Cabling has been reduced and the system is easy to install and use in vehicles. It includes wireless connectivity to the management PC, built-in ambient lights and KVM (keyboard, video and mouse).

“Anite’s investment in Nemo Invex II demonstrates our commitment to the benchmarking market”, says Petri Toljamo, Managing Director of Anite’s Network Testing business. “We strive to anticipate and exceed customer requirements by developing test tools which enable them to respond to the ever-growing information and data flow in wireless networks”, he concludes.

“Our customers are now able to improve their benchmarking processes as well as save costs. With Nemo Invex II, they will be able to benchmark the latest mobile broadband technologies and devices all in one test drive”, adds Jussi Lemiläinen, Vice President, Product Management and Business Development at Anite’s Network Testing business. He continues, “The increasing complexity of mobile networks requires more from the test equipment. Capacity, energy consumption and usability are key drivers for test tool design, in which Anite is determined to continue leading the industry”.

Nemo Invex II will be demonstrated at LTE Africa 11-13 November 2014, CTICC in Cape Town and at LTE Americas 18-20 November, Intercontinental Hotel in Dallas. At the events, Anite will also showcase its other Nemo products supporting LTE-A, Category 6 devices, Carrier Aggregation and VoLTE testing.
