CETECOM selects Anite for Verizon Wireless device certification testing
15th March, 2011 – CETECOM has selected Anite’s LTE conformance toolset and SAS test solutions for Verizon Wireless device certification testing.
Anite’s Conformance Toolset delivers comprehensive & industry leading coverage of LTE signalling protocol test cases encompassing both GCF and PTCRB certification requirements. In addition, Anite leads the way with its Conformance Toolset as one of the first test equipment vendors to have 3GPP RAN5 TD-LTE test cases approved by GCF.
SAS is Anite’s industry leading interoperability testing solution, enabling accelerated time to market for new mobile devices. Its intuitive user interface and advanced feature support have made SAS the preferred solution for 2G/3G and now for LTE device approval. SAS supports more acceptance tests for Tier-1 mobile network operators than any other similar offering on the market.

Global Certification Forum – GCF – is an active partnership between network operators, device manufacturers and the test industry.
In response to changes in the regulatory environment in Europe, GCF was founded in 1999 to give operators confidence in the interworking of new mobile terminals at a time of rapid technological development and market growth.
For more than a decade, GCF’s certification scheme has evolved to keep abreast of the needs of the industry. It is now recognised globally as the de facto standard for device certification.
GCF became a not-for-profit private company limited by guarantee in May 2008. GCF is incorporated in the United Kingdom under the name Global Certification Forum (GCF) Ltd.
