Antheus Telecom rings the changes with awards success

Leading South West telecoms company, Antheus, announces today it is shortlisted for the “Best Business Use of Cloud” Award at the 2015 Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA) Awards.

ISPA is the UK’s trade association for providers of internet services. The ISPAs – the UK internet industry awards – are the most well respected awards in the sector. The winners will be revealed at a glittering ceremony in July 2015 at The Brewery in the City of London.

Newton Abbot based Antheus has been shortlisted for its soon-to-be launched Liberalis contact centre system. It is the first UK Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) provider to incorporate web real-time communication (WebRTC), completely removing the need for additional hardware or software, such as VoIP phones, allowing operators to use a headset and a web browser to place calls.

The shortlisting follows hot on the heels of Antheus being crowned winners at the 7th annual Internet Telephony Services Providers’ Association (ITSPA) Awards in the Best VoIP Innovation category, also for Liberalis. The judges commented, “Antheus’ Liberalis is extremely innovative enabling both inbound and outbound call traffic via a WebRTC application with no phones required.”
