Brussels, Belgium, and Berlin, Germany, 15 March 2011 – Altitude Software, a leading independent global contact center solutions vendor, announced today that avocis (formerly PREMIUMcommunications Group) selected the Altitude uCI suite to be deployed as the standard customer interaction management solution in all avocis subsidiaries.

“The flexibility and low total cost of ownership of Altitude uCI that we have observed at our adm group operations enabled us to build standard services integrating existing Adato – our IT services company – developments and frameworks”, states Michael König, Information Systems Director for Germany at avocis. “We will also start to use the new Altitude uCI version 8, exploring its new unified workflow capabilities in our business process outsourcing companies”.

avocis is one of the three largest customer service providers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2010 it reached 180 million euro sales with 7000 employees at 14 locations in Germany and Switzerland. It provides a wide range of customer interaction services of increasing complexity to a range of international customers ranging from banks and insurance companies, telecommunications and media companies to energy, trade and healthcare.

Altitude uCI was first deployed at avocis’s adm group in 2007, powering a customized contact center solution for 600 adm group agents to service major german telco T-com’s hotline. The installation was completed in a record 20 days. This early business success led to the increased use of the Altitude uCI solution at other group companies and operations. Nowadays there are over 2550 agents working with the Altitude uCI contact center suite together with Altitude vBox SIP-based Communications solution.

“This global partnership agreement is focused on exploring existing synergies between Altitude’s contact center solutions and avocis operations in Germany,” explained Laurent Detournay General Manager at Altitude Software Benelux and Central Europe. “Having worked closely with avocis’s It services company, Adato, in numerous projects in Germany, we are now expanding the partnership to pursue opportunities in all avocis locations, both in Germany and Switzerland”.
