BaseKit sponsors the .net Magazine Awards 2011

BaseKit are lead sponsor of the upcoming .net Magazine Awards 2011. The highly anticipated event is to be held on Thursday, 24th November in Soho, London. Now in its 13th year, this year’s .net Magazine Awards will be focusing on the best of emerging and existing talent in web design and development in the UK. Over the past few months, more than 120,000 public votes have been cast. Public voting has now closed and an expert panel of judges from the likes of Google, Microsoft and Flipboard are in the process of selecting this year’s winners.
In conjunction with the awards, BaseKit has teamed up with .net to launch a competition with a highly coveted prize. Entry to the competition requires designing a one-page portfolio site with BaseKit’s award-winning website builder software. The lucky winner will receive a brand new MacBook Air and will be featured in a future issue of .net magazine. The winner will also receive VIP tickets to the .net awards and a special award at the event. The competition closes on 17th November.
