BICSI CONCLUDES FOUR SUCCESSFUL
CONFERENCES IN ASIA

Tampa, Florida, January 11, 2017—BICSI, the association advancing the information and communications technology (ICT) community, recently concluded several conferences in Asia. Throughout the month of November, BICSI Conferences & Exhibitions were held in Thailand, the Philippines, Japan and Korea. The conferences drew nearly 500 delegates who were eager to learn more about advancements in the ICT industry.

Throughout all four events, there were several themes for the technical content, including Power over Ethernet (PoE); trends and standards for data centers; data center best practices; and the Internet of Things (IoT).

In addition to presentations, there was strong support for BICSI from the 30+ conference exhibitors that met with delegates about the latest products and services available to them. The response received from all parties involved was resoundingly positive, and many are looking forward to the next events in their area.

“These latest conferences in Asia were a great success!” said BICSI President Brian Ensign, RCDD, NTS, OSP, RTPM, CSI. “It is exciting to see such an impressive turnout at all of BICSI’s events around the world, and especially in Korea, where this was our first BICSI-hosted event. BICSI will continue to plan these conferences and gatherings to reach our entire global audience.”

Many more global BICSI conferences are already in the planning stages and are scheduled throughout 2017, and details will be made available once they are finalized.
