BICSI Membership Elects Four New Board Members for 2014-16 Term

Tampa, Fla., October 3, 2013—BICSI, the association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment, has completed the 2014-16 Board of Directors Election. Members have elected four board members to serve two-year terms. In voting that ended September 30, members have selected the following individuals:

PRESIDENT-ELECT
Brian Ensign, RCDD, NTS, OSP, RTPM, CSI, Superior Essex, York, Penn.
TREASURER
Mel Lesperance, RCDD, NASA – Abacus Technology Corp, Tampa, Fla.
U.S. NORTH-CENTRAL REGION DIRECTOR
Christy Miller, RCDD, DCDC, RTPM (incumbent), BCL Enterprises, Inc., West Chester, Ohio
U.S. NORTHEAST REGION DIRECTOR
Carol Everett Oliver, RCDD, ESS (incumbent), Berk-Tek, A Nexans Company, New Holland, Penn.

“Assuming a Board of Director’s role is a landmark event for both the candidate and for BICSI,” said BICSI President Jerry L. Bowman, RCDD, NTS, RTPM, CISSP, CPP, CDCDP. “Election to a Board leadership position is recognition of the candidate’s contributions to BICSI and often to the industry. From a BICSI perspective, election to the Board typically comes after years of committee and industry service. On behalf of the current Board of Directors, we welcome these incoming Board members and look forward to their vision, wisdom and leadership as they assume a governance role in helping to define strategic and financial matters for BICSI.”

The new officers will officially be inaugurated in February 2014 during the BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla.
