Second Annual Survey by Marketing Week’s Pitch Digital SeesAgency Placed Fourth in Rankings in Surprise Shakedown
London – Friday 1st July ……. British interactive marketing and communications agency, big:group was the only digital agency to maintain a position in the vanguard of the primary league table in Pitch Digital’s second annual Agency Reputation Survey. The influential survey was conducted independently by YouGov at the instigation of Marketing Week’s specialist publication (www.pitchdigital.marketingweek.co.uk), and rated client opinion in categories such as value for money, effective creative, marketing strategy, account management, effective integration, and financial management. Big:group was placed fourth out of a total of 47 agencies listed.
The survey garnered the opinions of 430 different brand owners (predominantly senior marketers with ad spends of over £10 million) ranking 47 agencies. Pitch Digital’s Editor, Joe Fernandez, comments on the latest findings: “The major change from 2010 is that this year the so-called traditional advertising agencies do not top the primary league table…a devotion to original branded content has brought new entrants into the top ten. There is little doubt that digital marketing is the future of brands. As technology increasingly connects with audiences in real-time……agencies face the challenge of proving their credentials to develop such services.”
