Broadway Systems Celebrates Two Years of Growth at NAB 2012

April 3, 2012 – Grand Rapids, Mich. – Broadway Systems, the leading provider of advertising management software for cable networks, will exhibit at the 2012 NAB Show (Booth N1108) later this month in Las Vegas, Nev., following a period of unprecedented growth. Over the past two years, the company has signed eight new clients representing 12 national cable networks, and it has doubled in size, primarily adding personnel to its R&D and client service teams.

“Our exclusive focus on cable network advertising is part of the reason we’ve seen such amazing momentum and won so much new business over the past two years,” said John Sorensen, president of Broadway Systems. “Our new customers recognize the value of a proven advertising management platform designed specifically for their business. Plus, they see that we are committed to delivering what we promise and providing the best service to our customers.”

Broadway’s list of new clients includes BBC America, Imagina US, Music Choice, Travel Channel, and TV One. Additional channels are scheduled to launch later this year.

Additions to the Broadway team include Board Advisor Larry Goodman, a 30-year industry veteran and former president of sales and marketing at CNN; senior vice president Ron Levy, who has more than 30 years of buy-side advertising management experience; and Victor Rukaj, who previously managed ad sales systems and operations for Fox News and Fox Business Channel and is now part of Broadway’s New York-based client services team. “Not only do we continue to improve our products, but we are investing in great people from the cable network advertising industry, agency software vendors, and our competitors to make sure we can address the specific needs of our customers,” said Sorensen.

Broadway has a proven track record with launching new networks, and has also been adopted by existing cable networks that have migrated from numerous legacy systems that operated ad sales, traffic, and billing separately. Imagina US, for example, began using the Broadway’s Traffic and Finance, Program Management, and Reporting modules for four different channels last year. Marilyn Vidal-Novo, traffic manager, Imagina US, said the transition to Broadway’s software was “the best conversion I’ve ever done. There was no delay whatsoever, and the implementation exceeded my expectations.“
