Comverse to Manage BSS, VAS, Operational Systems — Including Third-Party Applications — for Leading Caribbean Mobile Service Provider

WAKEFIELD, Mass., Sept. 17, 2014 – Comverse (Nasdaq:CNSI), a global leader in service provider business enablement solutions, today announced that LIME, the Caribbean’s leading communications company and a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless Communications, selected Comverse to provide managed services for an array of Comverse and non-Comverse products.

During the five-year managed services agreement, skilled Comverse professionals strategically located across LIME geographies will implement a continuous improvement process to ensure service levels are maintained. They will also help the company to optimize costs, enhance the subscribers’ experience, accelerate speed to market for promotions/offers and increase operational efficiency based on objective evaluation of Key Performance Indicators.

Some of the services included are:

  • Application Configuration Management for Comverse ONE, Comverse’s flagship BSS solution
  • Managed operations for Comverse ONE in Jamaica and Barbados
  • Managed operations for Comverse next-generation voicemail, USSD solutions
  • Test Factory: Testing for new services
  • Operations and Application development for IT Middleware and Mediation Systems

By applying best practices of preventive maintenance and analysis of events and trends, Comverse will identify opportunities to reduce risk and expand business opportunities.
