ROLLING MEADOWS, Illinois, Jan. 26, 2016 – Cambium Networks™, a leading global provider of wireless broadband solutions, today announced the appointment of Robert Miller to Director, Global Defense & Security. In this newly created position, he will lead the company’s global sales and customer support programs for the defense and security industries across the globe.

Prior to the appointment Miller was Director, North America East & Federal Markets. In this role, he drove sales, implementation and customer success across a wide range of vertical markets, including Internet service providers and federal, state and local governments. Leading the Federal Team, Miller brought wireless broadband solutions to the U.S. and allied nation governments for force protection, border and perimeter security, national infrastructure and various other mission-critical communications requirements.

“I look forward to expanding on the success we’ve achieved with the U.S. government at home and abroad,” said Miller. “Our commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) radios are particularly optimized for the high-capacity demands of mission-critical video surveillance – which is the most pressing application for defense and security initiatives for the U.S. and ally nations globally.”

Prior to joining Cambium Networks, Miller managed direct and channel sales to federal markets at Motorola Solutions for nine years. He has also grown and led successful sales programs for AT&T, Orthogon Systems and Ascend Communications.

“Robert’s passion for generating new business and focusing on delighting demanding federal customers has been invaluable to us at Cambium Networks,” said Atul Bhatnagar, President and CEO at Cambium Networks. “His innovative thinking and customer collaboration have led to the development of exciting new solutions for federal customers around the world.
