Cambium Selects SEAMCOM as Best Distributor in EMEA

21 December 2012 – Global wireless broadband solutions provider, Cambium Networks has named value-added fixed and wireless broadband solutions distributor SEAMCOM GmbH & Co. KG, as its Best Distributor by Volume across the EMEA. The award, which was presented at Cambium’s first ever Distributor Conference in Dubai, recognises SEAMCOM’s exceptional progress and outstanding performance over the past year.

Working collaboratively over the past three years, Cambium has provided Osnabrück-based SEAMCOM with its entire portfolio of Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multipoint (PMP) solutions. Cambium’s PTP and PMP solutions offer the bandwidth, the flexibility, the ease of installation, the intuitive operation and the cost effectiveness that make high-speed access accessible to virtually everyone on the planet.

“We work with partners to encourage success so this is a fantastic achievement,” commented Martin Lorenz, Cambium’s Regional Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “SEAMCOM’s commitment to delivering our products has driven results across EMEA and places them as our largest distributor for the whole region.

SEAMCOM has been highly successful in distributing Cambium’s solutions especially within development projects for regions with inadequate broadband availability, connecting remote office buildings, residential houses and annexes. Projects have also included connecting radio base stations for emergency services and their control rooms, such as fire station houses and police stations.

Peter Stroetmann, General Manager of SEAMCOM added: “We are thrilled to have won this award, which demonstrates that our operational strategy in the EMEA is on the right track. Cambium’s wireless broadband solutions are quality and reliable products, which provide confidence among our customers.  We look forward to another successful year ahead.”
