Centile Telecom Applications Empowers Indosat to Deliver Enterprise-Class Services to Mobile Users

(NYSE: MVC), and Indosat, one of the largest Indonesian telecom operators announced today the launch of Indosat’s Unified Communications Services to enterprise mobile users based on Centile’s Istra™ Mobile solution.
The Centile Istra™ Mobile services platform allows Indosat to provide advanced Unified Communications and Hosted PBX services directly to the enterprise GSM mobile phones. The services, including Call Center, System Recording, Conference Bridge and other advanced functionalities, are primarily delivered directly on GSM terminals without any need for smartphones or client applications. The solution is fully converged allowing the simultaneous use of any IP devices and providing client applications for those end users that desire it.
Furthermore, the solution allows for integration with existing legacy premise PBXs so that enterprise customers can continue using legacy PBX equipment and phones, saving to the enterprise additional costs and project complexity.
