Clearleap Goes Global at IBC 2014
- Continues to help leading TV brands deliver true multiscreen TV experiences
- Supports the European TV revolution as the market continues to evolve
- Provides insights into Latin American market following regional launch
Amsterdam, Netherlands, 13 August 2014 – Clearleap, the leading provider of multiscreen video logistics for the broadcasting and pay-TV industry, will be demonstrating its commitment to the global TV landscape at this year’s IBC Show. Since launching into Europe at IBC in 2013, Clearleap has solidified its position as a trusted partner in multiscreen video around the globe, and will be demonstrating this through a number of thought-leading events.
Clearleap will be exhibiting on booth #14.G10 in the Content Everywhere hall, and will demonstrate its innovative, extensible multiscreen platform, which is enabling some of the industry’s biggest names to transition gracefully to true multiscreen video.
As thought leaders in the multiscreen landscape, Clearleap will be demonstrating how operators can capitalize on the opportunities of today’s evolving European TV market presents through the launch of its latest white paper entitled Content Without Borders. Clearleap’s CEO, Braxton Jarratt, will be presenting findings from the paper, and will examine the steps companies need to take to go from potential to profit in today’s competitive TV landscape.
“The European pay-TV market is presenting huge opportunities for broadcasters and content owners- but with millions of people, over 50 countries and an abundance of currencies and devices to contend with, getting content across borders is no easy feat,” said Braxton Jarratt. “Whether it’s an incumbent terrestrial broadcaster looking to launch OTT services, or a new entrant eager to break into untapped markets, senior executives need a local perspective- and this is where we come in to play. Our vision will help companies implement a credible strategy for going global, and profit from the opportunities it presents”.
Along with publishing a new visionary paper that helps operators launch content without borders in the dynamic European TV market, the company will also be speaking on several panels, including discussions on the Latin American market, a joint case study with US broadcaster Scripps Networks, and will be providing interactive demonstrations of its leading multiscreen platform – the foundation for its momentum.
“As we continue to expand and grow across borders, so does our vision, which is why we have launched this paper at IBC. The development in technology, along with the penetration of broadband, is having varying effects on delivering video across the globe and from planning to rollout, we want to provide broadcasters and content owners with the tools and game plan they need to deliver their content to viewers anytime, anywhere in the world,” added Jarratt.
