New facility will bring together five Cobham companies in the Communications and Connectivity sector

 

SINGAPORE  Cobham Communications and Connectivity has today opened a new facility in Singapore, to drive further growth of its business activities across the Asia Pacific market. This new office brings together the Cobham Group’s Antenna Systems, AvComm, SATCOM, Tactical Communications & Surveillance (TCS) and Wireless business units. The region contributes significant revenues annually, making Asia Pacific one of Cobham’s most important and rapidly expanding markets.

To mark the opening of its new Singapore headquarters, Cobham Communications and Connectivity Sector President, Fred Cahill, will be joined by the British High Commissioner to Singapore, HE Scott Wightman, and dignitaries from key customers, which include some of the largest public and private sector organisations in the whole of the Asia Pacific region.

“The opening of this facility demonstrates our firm commitment to support organisations in the Asia Pacific market with the latest in wireless technological innovation,” said Fred Cahill, Sector President, Cobham Communications and Connectivity sector. “This is a key market for Cobham and an area of huge innovation and potential. To meet the needs of our wide customer base in the area, we will continue to develop new products specifically aimed at the unique challenges felt by our local customers.”
