by david.nunes

Blandford Forum, 17th August 2010 – Colem today announced that Tom Blake will be taking over a new role as Product Architect. In this role, Blake will be overseeing Colem’s next generation of NMS Technologies.

Tom Blake started in IT and the Air Traffic Control industry. With this experience he came over to Colem in 2005 to utilise his skill set, producing screen and software applications for all Colem’s management systems based on the industry standard GE Proficy iFIX Process Control platform.

Since that date Tom has worked with numerous broadcasters, satellite operators and military clients, improving their process control platforms. This includes BSkyB, Holkirk, Reuters, SiSLive and YLE.

“This new role as Project Architect is a natural development for Tom. He now oversees our next generation of NMS Technologies, with a view to transforming Colem’s production capability within the business model,” commented Martin Coleman, Director, Colem. “He will be working across all projects within the company and in particular, working with our new Asia-Pacific Agent, Carrick Communications.”

Colem will be exhibiting at IBC on stand 6.C28e.
