Colem to Showcase Broadcast NMS System at IBC
Blandford Forum, Dorset, 24 July 2012 – Monitoring and control specialist, Colem, today announced that it will be showcasing the latest version of its Colem Broadcast Network Management System (CBNMS) at IBC in September.
CBNMS is a self-configurable Network Management System, enabling users to add, edit, and delete devices themselves. This latest version uses web-based clienting, enabling broadcasters to access all-important information from anywhere and at anytime.
CBNMS is capable of monitoring and controlling all devices in the system. Multiple overview screens enable users to configure and view different sites or sections of the system clearly.
It also allows smart matrix switching, which saves operators time when performing their day-to-day tasks. Serial and SNMP communications means the CBNMS is almost unrestricted when it comes to the devices it can control.
“The requirement to access information anywhere and at anytime is becoming more and more prevalent,” commented Tom Blake, Product Architect, Colem. “It was therefore extremely important for us to build this version of CBNMS using web-based clienting.”
CBNMS will be demonstrated by Colem on the Novella SatComs stand at IBC, 1.F58b.
