Computacenter scoops four wins at Adobe Channel Awards

Services and Solutions Provider wins over 25% of categories at 2011 awards

LONDON, 2nd April 2012 – Europe’s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services Computacenter today announces it has won four prestigious awards at the Adobe Channel Awards. Of the fifteen award categories, Computacenter has been recognised for its hard work during 2011 with four wins, including Reseller Partner of the Year and Channel Partner of the Year for Acrobat, Creative Suite and Hobbyist Products. These awards recognise Computacenter’s strength and expertise in these areas, empowering creative teams, designers and content providers across the UK and Ireland.

“We are delighted to be recognised in not one, but four categories for supplying and supporting Adobe products across the UK,” says Pierre Hall, Solutions Director, Computacenter. “This both validates our hard work in this sector and confirms the direction that the sector is moving in; with organisations realising the value of and need for high-grade design, development, editing and pdf creation tools in a contemporary workplace today, we will certainly continue to see momentum grow around Adobe products in the future.”

Held at Shaka Zulu in Camden, London on the 22nd March, the awards recognise Adobe’s key partners for its main product lines, as well as the distributors and resellers which have contributed significantly to Adobe’s business in the UK. Computacenter was previously recognised in 2009 as Adobe Channel Partner of the Year and Acrobat Reseller of the Year, and is currently an Adobe Platinum Partner. The solutions and services provider is fully able to manage the entire lifecycle of Adobe products, removing day-to-day headaches from in-house teams, such as license renewal.

“Adobe solutions have become an indispensable part of our contemporary workplace today,” continues Hall. “With the increase in mobile workforces and new generation hardware devices there are so many ways to deliver and consume technology. The Adobe Acrobat format, for example, is recognised and accepted across the globe, enabling companies to share documents seamlessly in a controlled but accessible fashion. However, most companies struggle to make the most of their Adobe purchases, and at Computacenter we are proud to help our customers not only ensure that they are compliant with licensing agreements, but also that they get the right software package to meet their needs at the right price.”
