Computop Joins Demandware LINK

Pre-built integration between Computop Paygate and Demandware Commerce enables rapid, low-cost implementation of leading payment solution technology

New York – January 10, 2012 – Computop, a leading payment service provider (PSP), announced it has joined Demandware® LINK, a best-of-breed technology partner community committed to removing the hurdles that retailers face when integrating front-end ecommerce technologies into an enterprise-class commerce solution. As a member of Demandware LINK, Computop has developed a pre-built and approved integration to the Demandware Commerce platform with its Computop Paygate cartridge, thus providing the seamless, compliant and secure processing of domestic and international ecommerce payment transactions.

“We are pleased to add Computop to our LINK community,” said Jamus Driscoll, senior VP of marketing for Demandware. “With this pre-built integration, Demandware clients can now benefit from a multichannel payment platform which can be implemented in a fraction of the time and cost normally required for such integrations.”

For online retailers, application integration can be as much as 50 percent of the overall cost and time required for implementing ecommerce technologies. With the pre-built integration between Computop Paygate and the Demandware Commerce platform, the typical length of time required for implementation can be reduced which translates into measurable cost and time savings for retailers.

“We are excited to formalize our relationship with Demandware by being a part of its LINK community,” said Doris Linke, head of operations for Computop North America. “With the Paygate functionality, Demandware’s clients will be able to conduct business both domestically and overseas with confidence, knowing that they can offer the appropriate mix of payment methods and fraud prevention in their online shops to drive conversions and customer satisfaction.”

The Computop Paygate cartridge for Demandware is available to all Demandware customers in the US and Europe.
