Enables CSPs to Evolve Services to the All-IP World and Become Digital Lifestyle Players
WAKEFIELD, Mass., Feb. 24, 2014 – Comverse (Nasdaq:CNSI), a global leader in telecom business enablement, today announced the release of its new Evolved Communication Suite (ECS), delivering IMS standards-based solutions for Mobile VoIP, RCS and IP Messaging.
Supporting communication service providers (CSPs) in the evolution of their services to IP and the digital era, the new offering enables CSPs to leverage their key asset – the ubiquitous existing voice and messaging services used by virtually everyone – to become an integral part of subscribers’ digital lifestyle.

- ECS Core: Evolves voice call, SMS, MMS and visual voicemail to a digital experience across any Internet-connected device via a WebRTC or downloadable client, building a critical mass of users for CSP IP-based communication services.
- ECS Plus: Extends ECS Core with the new RCS 5.1 services (group chat, file transfer, video share, presence and geo-location information), enabling them through the client or new devices with GSMA-accredited support for RCS services.
- In concert with Comverse ECS, Comverse Share™ enables CSPs to leverage their new IP presence on subscribers’ devices, harvesting social network information to gain insight into the digital lifestyle of their subscribers. This allows CSPs to increase retail and marketing power, facilitating the adoption of RCS and future digital services.
