WAKEFIELD, Mass., July 2, 2014 – Comverse (Nasdaq:CNSI), a global leader in telecom business enablement, announced today that the Comverse Evolved Communication Suite (ECS) has been honored as top innovator in the Editor’s Choice category for the 2014 COMET (Communication and Entertainment) Innovation Awards by the respected communication industry publication Pipeline.

Pipeline‘s Innovation Awards program provides objective validation of technological advancements that are used to deliver the world’s most advanced COMET services. Over 200 nominations were received representing over 100 companies, from which the finalists are reviewed by an external judging panel comprised of executive-level service providers, including AT&T and British Telecom and key industry analysts; Comverse accepted the trophy at the red-carpet awards reception at the TMForum event in Nice, France on June 1, 2014.
