Convergys and Cox Renew Long-Term Billing and Customer Care Contract

(Cincinnati; November 1, 2010) – – Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, announced today that Cox Communications, the third-largest cable entertainment and broadband services provider in the United States, has renewed its contract for Convergys Smart BSS Solutions. This is the third contract renewal in North America this year for Convergys’ cable solutions, which support 8 of the top 15 cable, broadband, and satellite providers in the United States. Convergys also supports more than 36 cable, broadband, and satellite providers globally.

With feature-rich and field-proven solutions, Convergys has been a BSS supplier to Cox Communications for 26 years. Under this renewed license agreement, Convergys will continue to provide long-term billing services to Cox’s six million residential and commercial video, voice, and data customers.
