Convergys Enhances Relationship Technology Management Channel Program to Help Partners Grow and Increase ROI

(Cincinnati; October 5, 2010) – (EON: Enhanced Online News) – At a Convergys-hosted conference featuring representatives from 26 different partners in North and Latin America, Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, announced it has added new tools to its Relationship Technology Management channel partner program, expanding support for its partners with new training discounts, sales tools, co-marketing programs, and demo systems.

These new enhancements are already in place and are available to all solution providers globally that have signed a Relationship Technology Management reseller agreement with Convergys.

Full Portfolio of Training Enablement

Earlier this year, Convergys standardized its technical training discounts to move all Relationship Technology Management resellers toward a more comprehensive technical portfolio of Intelligent Automation. The discounts are the highest ever and have proven to be effective, driving over 100% growth in attendance through the first half of 2010. In addition to the technical training discounts, partners are also able to access a library of on-demand courses, including both a technical and sales training curriculum. Finally, Convergys launched Sales Boot Camps to lead Relationship Technology Management partners through an in-depth study of its Intelligent Automation solutions.

Sales Tools

Convergys revamped its sales and marketing hub to include 300% more information. The new Relationship Technology Management partner repository houses a competitive communicator, market landscape analysis, price change notifications, and a range of sales positioning, discovery, and ROI tools.

Not for Resale Software

To advance the sales cycle, demo software enables proof-of-concept testing and product demonstrations. Relationship Technology Management partners taking part in the program receive the latest license release of Intelligent Automation, as well as complete technical documentation, access to the troubleshooting knowledgebase, and on-call installation support.

Utilizing the development license, Convergys partners can demonstrate Intelligent Automation in a client setting, validating the solution’s key benefits of centralizing and simplifying enterprise policy management across all customer contact channels, including self-service, agent-assisted, or web device.

Co-marketing Support

Since the first half of this year, Convergys has engaged with key Relationship Technology Management partners around the world in customer events and road shows, attracting net new prospects with activities in China, Australia, Mexico, and North America. The partners have responded very well to the co-marketing arrangement because it allows them to leverage co-funding and customers have responded well to the joint value propositions.
