Model of a smart house controlled by ‘COT’

February 2018 – Botpartner, one of the Taiwanese companies awarded in Taiwan Excellence, has presented ‘COT’, its new software to control smart homes via voice. The startup, supported by bureau Française de Taipei, presented their product in the Taiwan Excellence Presentation, hosted by Taitra (Taiwan external trade development Council) during Mobile World Congress 2018.

Botpartner uses the latest AI technology to improve chatbots to control the home appliances without the need to download different apps. One chatbot can satisfy all the needs.

The voice input is the start of Botpartner’s ‘CoT’, using text and voice to control distant internet connected smart home by 3 steps: Order by voice or text, automatic speech recognition which can recognize 4 languages (Chinese, English, French and Spanish), and a multi-tasking cloud.

Hardware and software are important in chatbots, especially with the AI development, but emotion and appearance are more attractive to customers. Botpartner invited a Disney designer to create the cute image of Louis, ‘COT’ chatbot. The next step is to explore the IP value of Louis to touch the customers.
