Price Increases on Certain Products Globally
MINNEAPOLIS — Cummins Power Generation Inc., a division of Cummins Inc. (NYSE:CMI), and one of the leading worldwide manufacturers of electrical generators and power generation systems, announced a general price increase effective January 1, 2012. The price increases of up to 3 percent are for diesel- and gas-fueled generator sets, automatic transfer switches and other products.
The price changes are in response to global market conditions, significant increase in fuel costs and foreign exchange rates. Cummins will continue to deliver the highest quality and value to our customers while remaining competitive in the market.
