THE NEED FOR SPEED – DIRECT SAVE TELECOM REINTRODUCES SUPERFAST 76Mb FIBRE PRO BROADBAND

Direct Save Telecom is delighted to announce it has reintroduced its Superfast Fibre Pro broadband package after it was flooded with enquiries about it since withdrawing the deal towards the end of 2014.

The superfast broadband package enables customers to enjoy download speeds of up to 76Mb and comes with totally unlimited data usage. It is aimed at the heavy user, such as online gamers or a large family who download or stream lots of TV and films.

The Fibre Pro product costs £19.95 a month and customers have to sign-up to an 18 month contract. Line rental will only cost £11 a month if you pay in advance, currently the cheapest line rental deal in the UK. It comes with a free wireless router, but there is a one off set-up fee of £24.95. Customers can also utilise Direct Save’s 24/7 UK-based broadband support.

Direct Save’s Fibre Pro customers can choose from three different call plan options with this deal.  All Fibre Pro users get UK weekend calls free with the package, while to add UK evening and weekend calls costs an extra £1.90 a month and anytime UK calls costs an extra £5.50 per month.

The budget telco withdrew its superfast fibre product last year when it launched its low-cost fibre deal in December 2014. The low-cost deal, which includes three months free and costs just £14.75 a month, gives users unlimited downloads with speeds of up to 38Mb. Direct Save envisaged the bulk of its fibre customers would be happy with the value deal, but has been inundated with requests about the faster package ever since it took it off the shelf.

“When we launched our low-cost fibre product at the end of last year, at the same time we withdrew our Superfast Fibre Pro deal as we did not think there would be enough demand for it,” explains Stavros Tsolakis, CEO of Direct Save Telecom.

“However, I am pleased to say we have been proved wrong as there have been lots of enquiries and requests about it since it was withdrawn. So I am delighted to say as of now we have relaunched it so customers now have the choice between the low-cost fibre product and Superfast Fibre Pro.

Tsolakis adds: “In both cases, in terms of cost, we are very competitive when you compare us to the other best deals around and we are way ahead of the likes of BT, Sky and Virgin. The launch of the low-cost fibre deal, and now the reintroduction of the superfast 76Mb product, means consumers now have more of a choice when it comes to fibre and makes Direct Save Telecom a real player in the market.”
