CWC CREATES GLOBAL LINK FOR JERSEY-BASED LAW FIRM

Cable & Wireless Communications’ (CWC) Jersey business has won a US$3.5m contract to create a global Wide Area Network (WAN) for legal firm, Ogier.

Ogier, which is headquartered in Jersey, chose CWC for this project because it can deliver almost all of the connections required without needing to work with partner companies. CWC operates businesses across four continents. The global WAN will connect Ogier offices in Jersey, Guernsey, London, the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands and Hong Kong.

The project to install the network will be conducted over three phases, and is expected to be completed by the end of this financial year.
