Dacoll, the Edinburgh-based provider of IT Managed Services, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with the Crescent Purchasing Consortium that sees it join their approved supplier list for server and data storage systems.

The Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is operated and run on behalf of schools and colleges within the UK’s further education sector to provide a cost-effective route to purchasing a wide range of equipment and services. The service offered by CPC to its more than 1100 members ensures access to professionally arranged contracts covering a wide range of goods and services. The key element is the simplification of the buying process for large capital expenditure by reducing the requirement to put contracts out to tender, saving valuable time and money.

“The opportunity to become a supplier to the Crescent Purchasing Consortium is one that we see many advantages to, not only for Dacoll, but for consortium members who now have access to the range of server and data storage systems that we can provide nationwide. We are already seeing the benefits with Dacoll being selected as a supplier on the recently developed Network Hardware & Services including Servers & Data Storage Framework” says Ron Macfarlane, Dacoll’s Sales Manager.
