FARNBOROUGH – 30 October 2013 – Datum Datacentres is delighted to announce that it has been short-listed for two categories in the 2013 Data Centre Dynamics Awards.
Focusing on the use of technology to facilitate the provision of leading edge data centre facilities with enterprise class service management, Datum has been shortlisted for Innovations in Outsourcing as well as Innovation in the Medium Data Center, where the submission was in conjunction with data centre design specialists, Keysource. Based on years of experience as both a client and an operator of data centres, Datum’s management team was determined to build a premium data centre that was not only highly secure and environmentally efficient, but also provided clients with a high level of responsiveness and visibility into the data centre facility at a fair price. Working with Keysource, FRN1 has been designed to make the datacentre management systems work to support service levels to clients, whilst the cooling solutions are designed to maximise energy efficiency using cost effective, state-of-the-art cooling technology.
The DatacenterDynamics Awards are the leading awards for the data centre industry recognising innovation, leadership and ‘out of the box’ thinking. Winners will be announced at this year’s London ceremony which will be attended by over 650 industry leaders on 12th December 2013 at the Lancaster London Hotel.
