DELTA and Intamac launch new Connected Home Security and Home View proposition

Intamac Systems Limited, the Connected Home service provider announces its commercial partnership with DELTA, the Dutch multi-utility company that provides energy, multimedia, infrastructural and environmental services, such as internet, telephone, radio and TV, and waste management to its customers in the Zeeland region.

Using Intamac’s cloud-based monitoring platform, Enso, and a range of connected products, DELTA will be able to offer its customers a unique, self-install home monitoring proposition. The interactive security service enables DELTA’s customers to receive alerts to their smartphone when an intruder is detected, as well as allowing them to view and control their system remotely, via a web or smartphone app.

In addition to the security features (like motion detection, door open/closed etc.), DELTA’s customers can add other accessories to improve their safety, for example, smoke detectors. The flexible proposition allows DELTA’s customers to create their own bespoke monitoring system at home.

DELTA is also offering a Home View service – a simple camera proposition that offers basic security features and peace of mind; letting the user view live video images straight form the home to their smartphone. This can operate as a stand-alone proposition or be integrated with the Home Security kit to create a more comprehensive package and more secure home.

DELTA’s customers will be alerted to events as they happen and they will have full access and control from wherever they are, via smartphone, tablet or web apps.

DELTA plans to launch connected home services in Q2 of 2014 and selected Intamac as its partner for the launch due to its flexible and innovative approach, long track record of success in the market, and confidence that Intamac were best placed to meet their ambitious plans for the future – that include launching additional services in the Assisted Living, e-Health and Home Safety verticals as well as longer term plans for integrated multi-media services.
